Special cars on hand include the Tiger Shark, XP-880 Astro II, 1963 Monza SS, Astro I, 1969 aluminum Reynolds Corvette EXP 040, 1973 Aerovette, CERV III, CERV IV, C5-R #50 Le Mans race car, LT1 Spyder Concept, ASC Sting Ray III, and Corvette SS. A raffle draw for the unique 2003 Gold Power Corvette is won by Anthony Yarnell of Cumming, Georgia. A raffle draw for a Dale Earnhardt Edition 2003 Z06E is won by Dale Edwards of Grand Blanc, Michigan. The two raffles raised $700,000 for National Corvette Museum.   • At the Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA show, Mecum Collector Car Auctioneers conducts the auction of over 300 Corvettes. 70 percent sell. Some highlights:
    • Roger Judski of Roger's Corvette Center in Maitland, Florida, pays US$640,000 for a 1967 L88 red coupe with only 12 miles on it. This is a world record for any production Corvette.
    • 1963 Styling Car US$216,000,
    • 1963 Z06 Coupe US$150,000,
    • 1969 coupe US$97,500.
    • The 1954/55 Arizona Proving Grounds Corvette test car with the first Duntov camshaft is bid to US$225,000 but not accepted.
