Live events consist of a broadcast of Dixieland Jazz using RealAudio. You'll need the RealAudio Player 4.0 (or higher) to listen to the audio content (and video if we use it).

Another component of the live event is a chat room using IRC (Internet Relay Chat). If you have web access, then you can download any of several IRC clients. I recommend mIRC for Windows, and Ircle for Macintosh. Go to http://www.shareware.com and search for "IRC" for your computer type to download a client. If you have a text-based Internet access, it's still possible that you have access to an IRC client. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to see what they have available.

For IRC, you need to select one of the EFNet servers for your server connection. Once you're connected, join the channel #DJML. I use server irc.primenet.com, but you can use any of the servers in the EFNet group. This includes:
