Contests

The Hidden Items

Okay, our editor thinks its really fun to hide things in the magazine and then give a prize to one of the people who finds it. Weird? Yes. But sometimes the prizes are pretty good.

In our Mar/Apr issue on Human Spaceflight, find a tiny version of this rocketship and you could win an actual piece of insulating tile from the space shuttle Columbia. Email your name, address, and the location of the rocket, to contests@yesmag.ca.

Comic Captions

Don’t forget about the Comic Captions! Take a look at the latest photo on page 30 and think of a caption. The funnier, the better! The funniest will be published and all entrants will have a chance to win a t-shirt and book prize. Email your caption, name, address, age, and t-shirt size to contests@yesmag.ca.

Brain Bumpers

Yet another chance to win a t-shirt and book. Send us your toughest science questions. If we answer your question, you win! Email your questions, name, address, age, and t-shirt size to contests@yesmag.ca.

Find the Critters

Okay, this isn't really a contest, more like a challenge. These five critters are hidden in every issue of YES Mag. It seems not many can find all five. Can you? If you do, let us know where they are: letters@yesmag.ca.
