Sidney: This page lists a number of good eating establishments in Sidney by the Sea and surrounding area. There is a very good selection of food in Sidney. There are a number of pubs, numerous cafes, all kinds of fast food, several delis and many fine dining establishments. Some of the best dining in greater Victoria can be found in and around Sidney. Sidney is a small town about 25 minutes north of Victoria. The merchants and businesses in Sidney do a lot to promote the town. Each Thursday during the summer there is a market on Main Street in Sidney and there are lots of opportunities to try different food at this Market. The market is quite a spectacle and well worth a visit to Sidney. Sidney is a quaint little town and very enjoyable. The main street in Sidney is only about 8 blocks long so it is easy to walk and there are lots of places to eat on or near Main Street. There are many more in nearby Brentwood Bay, Keating area and Central Saanich. Restaurants seem to open and close daily, so please forgive any errors or omissions.
