Rainwater harvesting involves the collection, storage, and distribution
of rainwater from the roof for use inside or outside your home or business.
It is a simple concept with effective results. Rainwater is generally
free from many of the common pollutants found in groundwater supply
and many surface supplies. Provided certain precautions are taken, rainwater
can be a safe, sustainable water source for all your water needs.
By
collecting and using rainwater, you are reducing your reliance on a
municipal or ground/surface water supply. You can directly contribute
to living a sustainable lifestyle, while reducing the taxing effects
on water infrastructure and sources. The following products can be used
to maintain the quality of the water stored in your collection tanks.
The more initial screening and filtration you do, the better your water
will store. This becomes especially important as the turnover decreases.
We
also carry a full line of water storage tanks. Contact us for sizing

Leaf Eater
- $137.00
The ultimate
high performance rain head for heavy rainfall areas where water
is captured for storage in tanks OR as a debris removing device.
The leaf eater is designed to improve the hydraulic performance
of downspouts and ensure that gutters and downspouts do not become
blocked with leaves and other debris. Sizes: 3".

Leaf Beater
- $121.00
A compact,
high performance rainhead with an aperature adjustable elliptical
primary screen that can be adjusted to acheive the best operating
setting depending on the intensity of rainfall and amount of debris.
The screen is elevated on an angle to "wash" it and
reduce manual maintenance. Sizes: 3", 4", 2"x3",
3"x4"

Rain Catcher
- $67.00
A versatile
leaf and debris catcher with two horizontal internal screens.

it collects debris in the main body of the filter. Can also make
a catchment device for rainwater tank overflow or intake to holding
tank. Sizes: 3", 4"

First-Flush
Diverter (downspout mounted) - $119.00 (plus PVC pipe)
A first-flush
diverter or "roof washer" automatically rejects the
first batch of water to come off the roof so it, and the larger
concentration of debris, is not collected in your tank. The first
0.5mm of rain to fall can wash away 80% or more of contaminants
on your roof. This unit diverts that volume of water aside, automatically
seals and then directs the on-going rain into your storage tank.
Simply add the correct length of PVC pipe to size the volume to
be rejected. Sizes: 3", 4"

First-Flush
Diverter (in-ground) - $281.00
Convert
a wet system to a dry system. This will eliminate water from sitting
in your underground pipes and improve the quality of the stored
water as a result. Requires a minimum 5 degree (1:12) slope.
