"WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS" ...........................All Present
(Favorite Hymn of Jesse Woodson James)
What a friend we have in Jesus, Have we trials and temptations?
All our sins and grief to bear! Is there trouble anywhere?
What a privilege to carry We should never be discouraged-
Everything to God in prayer! Take it to the Lord in Prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Can we find a friend so faithful
Oh, what needless pain we bear-- Who will all our sorrows share
All because we do not carry Jesus knows our every weakness--
Everything to God in prayer! Take it to the Lord in prayer.

PRAYER FOR THE FAMILY Past Chaplain-General, MOSB

"ROCK OF
AGES".......................................................................
........All Present

Rock of Ages. cleft for me, Not the labors of my hands
Let me hide myself in thee;                            Can fulfill thy law's demands;
Let the water and the blood, Could my zeal no respite know,
From thy wounded side which flowed, Could my tears forever flow,
Be of sin me double cure; All for sin could not atone,
Save from wrath and make me pure. Thou must save, and thou alone.

SERMON......................................................................
.........Dr. Baker

"AMAZING GRACE"
............................................................................
..All Present
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound	'Twas that taught my heart to fear,
That saved a wretch like me' And grace my fears relieved
I once was lost, but now am found; How precious did that grace appear
Was blind, but now I see. The hour i first believed.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) is a benevolent association of lineal and collateral descendants of Confederate soldiers founded in Richmond, Virginia, in 1896. The Missouri Division SCV was formed in 1900, and presently has "camps" located in ]Jefferson City, Lancaster, Louisiana, New Madrid, St. Louis, Springfield, Columbia, Independence and Warrensburg.

The SCV believes that the fierce devotion to duty and principle which were the hallrnarks of the Confederate soldier are a part of a previous heritage which should be available to and revered by all Americans, regardless of race, religion, color, creed, national origin or relation by blood to the events of the War Between the States. The SCV defends and exalts the Confederate battle flag and abhors the misuse and abuse of this banner by groups who would pervert this sacred symbol for purposes of racial supremacy or other beliefs of the political fringe.
