As well as being one of Southern Vancouver Islands' finer small Bed and Breakfasts, Ducks Landing is also the classic English country home of Christine Gabriel; who is always delighted to extend a warm welcome ,and personal service, to guests throughout their stay.

A full gourmet breakfast is offered and can be enjoyed in the bright country kitchen or outside on the sunny deck. Coffee, tea or soft drinks are readily available and beer or wine can be enjoyed on the South lawn at 'happy hour'.

 

Activities within the house include a pool table, darts, board games and jigsaws; TV with DVD and VCR capabilities, wireless internet and PC for receiving messages. Free international phone calling is also available.

 

Local studios of gifted artisans enjoy visitors from around the world and Ducks Landing includes some of their work in an eclectic mix of art, carvings and original paintings throughout the house. Metchosin has a wonderful and colourful country market on Sundays, and holds a fall fair and sheepdog trials which are almost unique rural activities in our world today. Fishing charters can be arranged locally and golf courses, including the world famous Bear Mountain, are two to fifteen minutes drive. Hiking to nearby beaches and walking, or biking, one of the many sections of the Galloping Goose trail, are wonderful ways to capture the local ambience.

Welcome to Ducks Landing B&B, a Tudor styled country house set amidst two acres of delightful gardens and bordering the third green of the Olympic view Golf course. This peaceful property is home to many  species of wildlife including deer, raccoons, squirrels and ducks; humming birds are year round visitors and eagles circle above the tall trees.
