Have all the photos of GAFCON pilgrimages in Israel aroused in you a desire to visit the Holy Land yourself? Pastor Sharon Hayton is hosting a 15-day tour to Israel, 26 April – 10 May 2009. There will be outstanding local guides who are affiliated with Christ Church (Jerusalem) – the historic, first Anglican/Protestant church in the Middle East. "We will trace the life of Jesus from his home in Galilee to Jerusalem,” says Sharon, "giving particular attention to the influence of Jewish thought and culture of the period on the origins of Christianity. Our goal is to better understand Jesus' ministry, his place among the Jewish people, and the application of his teachings for us today."
