The purpose of the Ladies tea is to encourage the ladies of Open Gate in the Lord, to get to know each other a little better through fellowship and testimonies. And also an opportunity for outreach, as we have encouraged ladies to invite someone who perhaps doesn't attend a church, and needs to find Jesus as their Saviour. God wants to reveal His love for each of us, and ladies enjoy tea & fellowship.

Saturday Night Live, a night of showcasing our talents at The Open Gate Church, to raise funds for new sound equipment. Organized by Lisa Guthrie - our music leader - the night was a huge success with the enjoyment of a wide variety of entertainment. The people gave generously toward the new sound equipment.

This group of young people were on a mission, traveling across Canada telling their stories in order to awaken a passion amongst Christians to pray for The Holy Land. They presented a powerful message through drama, music and testimonies. We were privileged to pray over the two Israeli members as they face the challenge of army life in Israel as Christians. They shared their stories and the good news that many young Israelis are coming to faith in Jesus in these days.
