The Church of Spiritual Illumination is a Christian Spiritualist church that teaches both Christian and Spiritualist morals and ethics.  The church offers a home study course in modern Spiritualism and an educational course to prepare students for Spiritualist ministry.

Reverend Ronald L. Koch was ordained on 26 May 2007 by Reverend Robert J. Johnstone.  Reverend R.J. Johnstone was ordained at Camp Chesterfield, Indiana.
