	The Royal Oak Christian Spiritualist Church was incorporated by the Province of British Columbia on 16 August 1988.
	This church is affiliated with the Spiritualist Church of Canada (Hamilton, Ontario) and is the first affiliate to be given registration as a Religious Organization in British Columbia.
	The SCC ordains the ministers who serve in affiliated churches.
	Ministers of the church registered in accordance with provincial legislation are recognized to perform marriages within British Columbia. The main object of this church is to provide a complete training program for ministerial students and church workers.
	The Royal Oak Christian Spiritualist Church is a registered charitable organization (registration number 88020 0720 RR0001).
	In August 2000, the Royal Oak Christian Spiritualist Church began publication of the monthly newsletter The Seeker that lists forthcoming events and information about Spiritualism and related subjects. This newsletter is distributed without charge to church members and to other persons upon request.
