Books For Sale
Are you looking for a specific book about Spiritualism and the evidence that the human personality survives bodily death?
The Survival Research Institute of Canada is building a research library relevant to study of life after death, spirit communication, near-death experiences, reincarnation, and psychical research.
The majority of books in our research library have been acquired through donation. Occasionally, we acquire duplicate copies that cannot be retained on our library shelves.
We have decided to make those duplicates available for sale at their appraised fair market value.
At the time of acquisition, we established the fair market value of each book by determining the middle-most price of similar copies available for sale on the Internet. Consequently, our book prices are neither the most expensive, nor the least expensive that you will find. They represent what we consider to be a fair price based upon a number of factors, including the book’s condition.
Please have a look through our inventory of books and consider making a purchase that will support the work of our organization. The proceeds from this fund-raising will be used to purchase titles that we are less likely to acquire through donation.

If you want to know if we have a book by one of those authors before our on-line inventory is available, send us an email (sric@islandnet.com) with the book title and your location. We will send you a description of the book, together with the cost including shipping.
With few exceptions, we have available for sale only one copy of each title. Some are first edition copies; others are reprint editions. Unless otherwise noted, all books are in good or better reading condition. The fair market value prices quoted are in Canadian dollars.
If you find a specific title(s) among our inventory of books that you would like to purchase, please email us:
- To confirm that the book is still available
- To request information about the book’s condition (unless otherwise noted, all are in good reading condition or better)
- To obtain the cost of shipping (we need your city, country and postal / zip code). Unless you want your order expedited, shipping will by the least expensive means.
We will respond by email to let you know the total payment required as soon as we determine the cost of the most economical means of shipping the book(s) to you.
From the date of our reply to you, we will place the book(s) on hold for one week to allow you to decide and to put payment to us into the mail. To send a personal cheque in a non-Canadian currency, please read Method of Payment. We can now also accept payment from credit cards through Paypal.
