• Certificate with details of the bird's age, sex, weight, wing length and unique band number, as well as some general life history information such as range and habits.

By adopting a coastal bird, you are helping to support the many conservation, stewardship and research programs and projects of Rocky Point Bird Observatory including the Fall Migration Monitoring Project and the Northern Saw-whet Owl Fall Monitoring Program. RPBO is the only west coast member of the Canadian Migration Monitoring Network. Our research provides scientists in Canada and around the world with important information on coastal bird populations, migration patterns, bird conservation and management. RPBO is a non-profit registered charity and we depend upon your support to continue to be an active participant in the migration research community, contributing to stewardship and conservation as well as increasing public awareness and education of birds and their coastal habitats.

Thank you for your interest in RPBO.
