Remote Passage

The Ecolodge is a newly renovated lodging located within the Tofino Botanical Gardens.  The conscious traveler will enjoy comfortable, quiet, private bedrooms and shared common areas in a convservation-minded environment.

During your stay, Remote Passages Marine Excursions hosts you on the water to complete your coastal experience.  Gray and Humpback Whales frequent the active open-coast waters off Tofino in the fall.  Black Bears continue to forage in calm-water intertidal areas until through early October.   Or you may prefer a guided sea kayak paddle and walk along an ancient rainforest trail -- a favourite of many 'local' visitors.

Make full use of the open-format kitchen, dining & common room.  Additional amenities include a natural history library, free wi-fi access, and the inspiring grounds of the Tofino Botanical Gardens -- with rainforest paths, and inlet shoreline viewpoints.

We make a donation of $2 on behalf of each package guest to the Raincoast Education Society.
