Crowsnest Mountain
Max Jacquiard

The Crowsnest Pass is a valley cutting through the Rockies of Southern Canada and remains one of the few active sections of the Canadian Pacific Railway's onetime "second mainline" to the Pacific Coast. On a mid-century winter morning, a west-bound freight train rolls upgrade towards the summit of the Pass at the village of Crowsnest located on the British Columbia - Alberta border, while the magnificent peak of the same name towers in the background.
