In the gathering dusk of a clear winter day the flanks of Extra West 5907 are lit by the headlamp of train #7, the Montreal section of the "Dominion", as it approaches Banff Station.The train, whose steam can be seen over the roof of the station, is running several hours late, the reason for which is left to the viewer's imagination. The crew of Selkirk #5907 is awaiting the order to proceed, which is likely to come shortly after the departure of the behind-schedule passenger train.
