Cactus Ridge Katie - DOB: July 31, 2000 Colour: light fawn pregnant female Sire: CPeruvian Aldo Dam: AVA MME Celesp. Katie is a large girl with great genetics. She has a pleasant personality and is a devoted mom. Her histogram in June of 2008 was AFD 26.7, SD 4.5, CV 16.9 with % over 30 of 11.7. We are very pleased with this result. Katie birth a fawn girlm (Trella shown below on Sept. 6 out of Major-B and is being rebred to our multi-ribbon winner Peruvian/Bolivian Almanzo for a spring for another great cria in early fall of 2010

Major-B - ARI 839792 CLAA 26891 DOB: Dec. 20, 2001 medium fawn full Bolivian macho Sire: Acero Marka's Bernard Dam: Acero Marka's Frivolous. Major is very dense with exceptional coverage and fine fleece with excellent character. He is one of only a few studs directly from Acero Marka bloodlines. His fibre stats on March 11, 2003 were AFD 19.5 SD 4.5 CV 22.8 with 1.9 microns over 30. On April 14, 2004 his fibre stats were AFD 22.1 SD 5.5 CV 24.8 with 5.2 microns over 30. Major now has numerous cria on the ground and they all have wonderful fine crimpy fibre.

Winter Delight - DOB: December 7, 2006. Colour: Medium fawn. Sire: Peruvian Accoyo Arctic. Dam: Turning Tide's Ellie Mae (out of Accoyo Juliaca). This 3/4 Accoyo girl has a very fine fleece with high frequency crimp. She produced a fawn female, Spring Delight, on May 17th and and is now rebred to our multi-ribbon winner, Almanzo for another great cria in late June of 2010.

AVA MME Celesp - DOB: Jan 1, 1995 Colour: light fawn with dark silver face Sire: unknown Dam: unknown. Celesp is a wonderful producer of gorgeous cria. She has excellent coverage and really good conformation. We did her histogram in June of 2008 and were pleased that her AFD is still good at 27.9. Celesp is bred to Major -B for an early fall 2010 cria.

AVA MME Vicoyo Dias - DOB: Jan 1, 1995 Colour: dark fawn with a bit of white on top knot and feet. Sire: unknown Dam: unknown. Vicoyo is a real sweetheart. She is curious but not pushy and gets along well with the herd. Her crias have been very nice and healthy with good fibre coverage. We gave Vicoyo a break over the winter as she fed her own cria as well as an orphan throughout most of 2008. She is being bred to multi-ribbon winner Peruvian/Bolivian Almanzo for a early summer 2010 cria.


 

Indeeya - DOB: May 26, 2005. Colour: silver grey. Sire:The Phantom. Dam: Wild Rose Filigree. Indeeya is a strong well boned solid girl. She is a very pretty girl with fine crimpy fibre and a nice long staple length. Her fibre is almost a blue color, a truly lovely shade of grey, with even colour throughout her blanket. Indeeya was shown in Alberta and come in 1st & 2nd. at the 2006 & 07 Northland Show. Her sire is a wonderful black male, Phantom and her dam is also black .She gave us a lovely black male cria this year and has been bred to grey Lord Elton for a summer cria in 2010. His micron at 5 years of age was 24.9. He passes along his crimpy fleece and fineness to his offspring. We just did a histogram on one of his offspring, a juvenile female, and it is incredible at AFD 16.8, CV 3.6, CV 20.8 and %>30 0.4. His other cria demonstrate similar fibre characteristics. Skywalker is also producing a majority of female cria and produces colour when put on colour. This fine Peruvian herdsire is offer at $6,000.

Indy Go Go - DOB: Sept. 3, 2004. Colour: Bay black. Sire: Cozy Cole. Dam: MMR Giselle.

Indy sells with her lovely true black female cria, Luma Nira born July 15, 2008, (pictured below) at side. Luma Nira is out of BR Big Shot.

Big Shot has a handsome typey head, short muzzle, dark eyes, dense topknot and good bite. His fleece is dense, shows good character with wonderful uniformity of colour from head to toe, giving. His genetics are one-quarter accoyo with his sire and dam bringing genetics of Vaccoyo and Lional into his pedigree. Big Shor has colour in his background for 3 generation and bears a striking resemblance to his well known sire Tell Hot Shot.

Ebony is a nice typey girl who just produced her second cria on June 25th,, a girl, Sea Biscut (pictured below) out of Alphonse.

Alphonse is a bay black with good coverage and  correct conformation. His  sire is "CPeruvian Accoyo Arctic" and his dam is a dark brown whose sire is  Cortez- a very finely fibred true black. Alphonse has a uniform fleece with bundling and density.

Amber is a strong producer who birthed a girl, Cana Lily, born August 3rd, out of rose-grey R.D.

R.D. (Razzle Dazzel) is a proud rose-grey herdsire and a 2nd generation gray. He has a wonderful personality, good coverage and great colour! R.D. has a very uniform fleece with a fine crinkle, very little medulation and his blanket has a very soft handle.

Cana Lily could very well produce grey for her new owner.

Loupi Lou is a delightful young female who just produced her second cria, a girl called Creme Brule (pictured below)on Jul;y 15th., out of Peruvian Snofire.

Snofire is a white full Peruvian out of, 4Peruvian Latora who came from Snowmass Alpacas. He has added density and fineness to his offspring. Snofire has a very uniform fleece with an excellent handle. With very little medulation in his fibre, he adds quality to the females that he breeds.

Jasmine's Luz Estrella - DOB: July 3, 2007. Colour: white. Sire: Saltspring Winston. Dam: Ebony's Jasmine. Luz Estrella means Starlight in English and is named after a little girl we met in Mexico. Our Luz Estrella definitely has star potential. She is a beautiful 3/4 Peruvian girl with soft, crimpy fibre and great conformation and presence. Her sire, the son of 4Peruvian Pachacuti, is a strong-boned and extremely dense male. Her grandsire is PCA Palomino who is out of Peruvian Accoyo Camilio. This little star has great potential.

 

 

Java's Delight - DOB: June 13, 2007. Colour: dark brown. Sire: Saltspring Winston. Dam: Rhapsody's Sonnet. What a sweetheart this little girl is. Her 3/4 Peruvian heritage is evident in her correct conformation, dense fleece and soft crimpy fibre. Her sire is out of 4Peruvian Pachacuti and her grandsire, PCA Palomino, is the son of Peruvian Accoyo Camilio. Java is developing into a real delight.
