About Multi-Faith Saskatoon

Multi-Faith Saskatoon (MFS) brings people together from different faiths in a spirit of friendship and celebration, to promote understanding and good will between faith communities. We believe that promoting amity, dialogue and co-operation among members of different faiths fosters a 'community of religions' in which the common ethical and spiritual values of all faiths can be better appreciated. Rooting out religious intolerance and prejudice as a source of conflict by means of interfaith dialogue is a growing phenomenon at local, national and international levels.

MFS operates under the direction of an elected Board of Directors made up of members from a wide range of faith communities.

Ongoing activities of MFS include:

"All the religions and all the peoples of the world are undergoing the most challenging transformation in history, leading to the birth of a new consciousness. Forces, which have been at work for centuries, are drawing the human race into a global network, and the religions of the world into a global spiritual community." - Dr Ewart Cousins, J.Ecumenical Studies

To contact MFS, email: mfsask@islandnet.com or call 306 241-1584. We are happy to provide speakers and resources on interfaith dialogue and cooperation and to provide links to the diversity of faith communities in Saskatoon. Memberships in MFS are open to all who share our aims and cost only $10.
