families, and a cultural
shift away from
organized religion. The
part of the church
where Sunday services
are held was built in

in the church’s
operating budget
forecast for the 2019
year end, Alanna was
asked to go from full-
time to three-quarter
time employment as a
cost-cutting measure.
This in itself will not
eliminate the deficit,
but it will help. As a
result of fewer hours
Alanna now gets to
spend Wednesdays at
