We started sponsoring Yurij when he was in his early teens and now he is a young man with a job that he loves. After he left the program we agreed to sponsor Levko, who is 15 years old, the sole child of a disabled mother, and very poor. We have no children of our own, so this gives us a chance to experience the satisfaction of helping a child grow up to be a good and productive member of society. (7)

Art broke his collarbone (right side, and Art is right-handed, so has been limited in the use of his dominant hand). It is a displaced fracture that has been slow to heal. Art was off work from 9 August to 15 September. He sees the doctor at the beginning of January to assess the progress he is making. The worst case scenario is needing surgery. Hopefully, it will heal on its own.
