The Marmot Recovery Foundation is a registered public charity working to save the endangered Vancouver Island marmot from extinction. We depend on your help to:

• operate the Marmot Recovery Centre
• manage the captive breeding program
• assist the wild population
• conduct research

The wild population is holding on by a thread -- but we still have time to beat the extinction clock. With your help and support our captive breeding and reintroduction programs can increase the wild population to a sustainable level and ensure this uniquely Canadian treasure continues to be a part of our rich cultural heritage.
