Jozef Sabovcik Fact Sheet.

Jozef's competitive career ended at the 1986 World Championships when he was forced to undergo two years of surgery and rehabilitation for an injured knee.
During a Skate Canada competition, Jozef set off a fire alarm in the middle of the night so he could see the girls with no make up on.
At the 1986 Europeans, Jozef landed the FIRST-EVER quadruple jump, four revolutions in the air and landing.
Jozef is fluent in six languages.
Although Jozef is Slovak, the division of his country distresses him because he lived 23 years in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia and considers himself to be Czechoslovakian.
Jozef, now 36, lives in Sun Valley, U.S. with his wife and son.
Jozef admits to being afraid of heights and says, "I don't particularly like flying. I would never do bungee jumping. It's everything I'm not in control of that I don't like."
Jozef owns a huge rock-music CD collection and writes reviews of albums for an electronic magazine on the World Wide Web.
Jozef dreams of skating to heavy metal music but fears that his audience would run.
