As Education Coordinator for the University of Victoria computing centre
I was responsible for the planning and development of user education programs
for both faculty and administrative staff. I supervised the delivery of
training, consultation and problem resolution services to members of the
University for both mainframe and microcomputer software.
Major accomplishments:

Initiated the user education workshop program to introduce interactive
access to the mainframe system (IBM/CMS)
-
Expanded the workshop program to include support for microcomputer (both
IBM and Macintosh) application software such as word processing, spreadsheets,
database and statistical analysis.
-
Co-ordinated training for the introduction of electronic office equipment
to all campus administrative offices, including word processing, electronic
mail and local administrative database systems.
