RMRS (Multi-Utility Remote Meter Reading
System)
The in-house network when connected
to a WAN (such as telephone system or cable system) offers the
following features:
RMRS SYSTEM FEATURES
- Graphical TV Interface (GATV) works with standard television sets
- Requires minimum field wiring in new or existing homes
- Connects to utility meters which employ advanced encoder technology
- GATV displays accumulated and current consumption and cost
- I/O controller (CON4-110) accepts four inputs and controls two
outputs
- Appliance control module (REL/SEN-110) reads consumption and
controls major loads
- Utility meter encoders do not require battery backup as the value
is stored mechanically within the encoders
SYSTEM SPECIFICATION
- GATV-110
- Displays information related to each utility in graphical form;
connects to baseband or S-Video of TV set; includes IR remote control and power supply;
functions in the Video mode of the TV.
- CON4-110
- Accepts utility meter inputs in Rockwell Protocol; reads Horizon
dual current sensor module (SEN-110); controls up to two load relays; includes power
supply.
- SIB-110
- Interfaces via RS232 format to WAN modems; serial communication
module enables WAN to connect to GATV-110, CON4-110 and other optional modules of network.
- REL/SEN-110
- Relay and sensor module; electrical rating; 250VAC, 25A (250VAC,
50A rating optional).
