The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 2 skilling coin was produced in fairly small quantities, seldom exceeding 100,000 per year.
