Coin Mercantile, Inc. Rare Modern World Coins for Investors and Collectors.
The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 2 skilling coin was produced in fairly small quantities, seldom exceeding 100,000 per year.

2 Skilling Banco, struck in copper. Diameter 33.5 mm, weight 18.9 grams.
