The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 1/4 skilling coin was produced in fairly large quantities, about 2 million per year. 1799-1800 One quarter of a skilling, struck in copper. Diameter 25.5 mm, weight 4.3 grams. 1802-1808 On the obverse is a stylized "G IV A", for King Gustav IV Adolf.
