The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 1/12 Skilling had a short life, but was produced in fairly large quantities, about 1-3 million per year issued.

1802-1808


The smallest of the early coins, one twelfth of a skilling, struck in copper. Diameter 20.5 mm, weight 2.4 grams.
On the obverse is a stylized "G IV A", for King Gustav IV Adolf.

1812


King Carl XIII, triple crown moved to reverse, arrows removed.

1825


King Carl XIV Johan.
Exists with plain or reeded edge.
