Web Changes

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

Due to some fundmental changes in company structure we are no longer able to offer shop space but we will continue to offer great prices on material and hope eventually again to offer shop space!!!

November 1998 - Well after nearly a year we have gotten around to fixing up the old web page - we hope to add more features soon such as a Helpful Hints page, a glossary of terms, and links to other pages related to rocks and other wonderful things.

November 11, 1998 - We have gone even higher tech - we now have a scanner - so expect lot's of images of stuff we are selling and just cool rocks in general. (Actually we didn't relish typing in a 50 page shop tips manual so we got lazy and got OCR happening - expect it a whole lot sooner now!)

November 19, 1998 - We have been busy - there are now images of the rocks we feature (click on the name) - the shop hints manual is happening - we are in the process of joining the rockhound webring - a few more links have appeared and the Victoria Lapidary and Mineral Society's Laphound News is now on line! Stay tuned - same Rock channel - same Rock time! More on the way!

November 27, 1998 - This month's Laphound News and more Shop Hints - we are now part of the WebRing - check out some of the sites in the ring - they are quite enjoyable!

December 5, 1998 - We are in the process of converting to a new version of web publishing software - be patient - it will make things nicer. We have added a new feature - the Rock Rogue Gallery - check it out Other Useful Information, Shop Hints and Links - Click Here

December 20, 1998 - Added more content to the Shop Hint manual - Opal hints including the best method I know of to do triplets - Fire Obsidian - Victoria Stone (artificial but some people like it) - and and extensive article on orienting tigereye!

December 30, 1998 - You lucky dogs! - another ten pages of Shop Hints- Including Tagua nuts, Honduras opal, tumbling hints, orienting star garnet and moonstone and machine speeds as well as a plethora of other hints.

March 6, 1999 - Well it has been a busy New Year so far and the web site has been suffering so I though I should make ammends by putting a directory of rock businesses in and more pictures in the gallery.

April 15, 1999 - The company has changed so we have changed the web page to reflect this!

October 6, 1999 - We have revamped the site to try and make it easier to use. The structure has changed but the content is the same. We hope to add some more features soon!
