The origin of the name Freya
In Norse mythology, Freya is a goddess of love and fertility. She is the patron goddess of crops and birth, the symbol of sensuality and was called upon in matters of love and counseling.
The goddess loved music, spring and flowers, and was particularly fond of the elves. So was Freya.
