June 2006 – Present             New Media Coordinator

                                                Paved New Media, Saskatoon, SK.

 

+ Paved is an artist run centre serving artists and independent filmmakers. I was responsible for the audio/visual equipment, digital editing suites, studio and office networking and maintenance, purchasing, and instruction on hardware and software. I was also responsible for directing production program, teaching classes, hiring instructors, and supervising artists’ productions. 

 

February 2006 – March 2006            Video Editing Instructor, Centre interuniversitaire des arts médiatiques (CIAM), Montreal, QC.

 

+ I taught one on one lessons using Final Cut Pro HD to filmmaker/artists.

January 2006 – April 2006            Sessional Instructor, ARTX 250: Visual Language as Content, Concordia University, Montreal, QC.

                                               

+ I designed and taught a studio class on Narrative Fictions in Art. I taught Macromedia Flash MX 2004, 2d digital animation and interactivity. I also taught  storyboarding, life drawing and audio recording and editing for animation .

+ I was responsible for design of products, packaging, as well as conception and layout of instructional materials for print. This involved designing 3d computer models as well as traditional computer aided layout programs. I also designed and built a computer controlled wood milling machine that was integrated into the production line.
