Welcome to the Library.  Pull up a chair, bring down a volume, and make yourself at home.  Can we get you some tea?  (This is Victoria, after all!)

There now, isn't that better?  This is a small library, and we've just begun building our collection.  Library cards, you say?  Nope, you don't need one here!  Everything in this library is free for you to read and take home with you.  Naturally, if you reprint, copy, or use an article (for example, for any commercial, literary, or educational purpose), you'll have to contact the authors for their permission — and of course, give credit where it is due.  Articles that can be freely reprinted will be marked as such for your convenience.  Remember, if you quote part of an article (let's say, in a review), it's only polite to send the author a copy of your work.  We'll try to include a contact address whenever possible.  Otherwise, any correspondence may be sent c/o Horned Owl Publishing.

Now, what can we get for you?

[*] Hekate in Early Greek Religion, by Robert Von Rudloff, M.Sc., M.A.
[*] What is Paganism? What is Witchcraft?
A very short introduction to two interesting spiritual paths.
The "P and W" words may not mean what you think they mean!  :)
[*] 'Tis the Season To be Giving, by Robert Von Rudloff, M.Sc., M.A.
Ever wonder about the origins of Santa? Here's one theory.
First published in the magazine Hecate's Loom.
[*] Yule Carols from the Pagan Digest
A collection of fun rewordings of well-known carols, hymns and songs.  Borrowing from other cultures and religions is a well-known tradition (look at the "Christmas" tree!).  This collection is courtesy of the High Plains Church of Wicca.
[*] Some Old Wisdom from a Unitarian Sermon
Contributed by Gregory Mott, a bit about the history of our favourite seasonal celebration!
