catch up, keep up, and get ahead, we can help. We offer tailor-made courses to help students of all ages and abilities achieve their full potential.
We, through our association with the Salvation
Army, are currently offering bursaries
for students who need help
financially as well as academically.

Specific Programmes
We are proud of all of our students: some have come a remarkable distance in a short period of time. We have designed programmes for students who have fallen behind, who are struggling to keep up, and for students who wish to remain at the top of their
respective classes. We have worked with people who have many different learning disabilities and varied educational experiences. However, with all of our students, we concentrate on teaching organizational skills and making learning fun!
NEW: E-Tutoring.
We have a free trial of components of our new e-tutoring programme: daily,
the student can submit his / her reading charts and journals of evaluation. For
as little $15/week, we can provide qualified, quality teachers to guide the
student through his / her school year.

Qualified Tutors
Havelock Tutoring only hires experienced, qualified tutors and we ask that each student and/or his or her guardian help us by completing evaluation forms at the end of each term.
The Havelock Method of instruction concentrates on organizational skills, developing a successful routine, taking responsibility and learning in a comfortable, enjoyable environment. Learning should be fun.

Homeschooling
Havelock Tutoring now offers Homeschooling guidance. If you wish to study the Homeschooling curricula in a friendly, small class setting, or if you would like support while you study at your own home, we can be of assistance.
We have written a number of private courses to help students prepare for the upcoming semester or school year. Through these private classes the
student not only gets ahead, but develops an attitude that admits: "I can do it!"

Homeschooling Plus
In today's world of perceived inconsistent school curricula, a lack of discipline in the schools and rising youth violence, we saw the need for comprehensive homeschooling. We instruct our students either in their own homes or along with others at our offices. We follow the B.C. Homeschooling regulations
and, in addition, we offer instruction in self-discipline, organization and respect for others. These are skills that we believe are more important than ever.
