Educational Tours:
The Homestay Association is pleased to work with so many wonderful international
language schools. There are over 120 in downtown Vancouver and 30 in Victoria - many of which are listed in our web site.
If you are interested in visiting BC, first we recommend you check out Galileo
College.
The schools offer many interesting programmes:
High School Preparation. This will help the student achieve the prerequisite knowledge and
skills to be fully integrated into the BC School system.
Intensive English as a Second Language Study. These programmes generally run for 1- 2 weeks.
Regular English Language Courses. Many schools offer on-going classes at a level most suited
to the individual student.
All-Inclusive Educational Tour. This is our favourite. It includes practical study of the English
language site-seeing and exciting afternoon and weekend activities.
Homestay. Should you desire to stay with a Canadian family while you are here, most of the schools
offer quality homestay programmes.
