Welcome to Waves Magazine:

Waves Magazine: the Journal of International Education is a publication that we believe to be an asset to the ESL community. We run articles on studying abroad, international education, travel, homestay, guardianship, liability, different cultures, Canadian culture, what to do on the West Coast and other topics that effect the ESL community.

We are proud that our magazine is useful to schools, homestay families and students.

Waves Magazine was first published by the Vancouver & Island Homestay Association in early 1998. The Association has proven to be a great resource for the ESL community in BC. We have hosted many events for staff, students and host families.
