Welcome to the Galileo

Sam Israel
Publisher of the Galileo and President of Galileo College

As President of Galileo College, I would like to formally welcome all students to our first issue of THE GALILEO.  We ask for your patience as our “child” struggles to find its first breath of air.

This little paper is designed to also give you, our students, a chance to have a “voice.” We welcome all ideas, no matter how strange or outrageous. We only require that nothing be printed that is deliberately designed to hurt another student’s feelings. ( This means you can still say any ridiculous thing you wish about your teachers, myself, and of course Michael.)

We hope to publish THE GALILEO weekly. So sharpen your pencils, open your eyes and ears, and start writing!

This issue: Welcome by Sam Israel, Galoshe by Gosh by Sam Israel, Alhambra Place by Mika Ezaki, International Students' Problems by Jong-Muk Lim.

Issue 2: Index, Thank You by Sam Israel, Capital Punishment by Chris, Boston Bound by Keisuke Fujii, In the 21st Century by June, Anatalya by Kadir Yildiz
