Test Results for Honeywell Strobanar 360 Flash UnitIn December 1999, Gordon Smith, the developer of the website title Boisvert's Discovery of the Discontinuity of Motion requested that the Technology Centre of British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) test the output of the strobe light used in these experiments. Testing and calibration of the unit had been done during the original experiments back in the '70's and '80s, however those tests were not documented. In order to alleviate any suspicions that the flash was not functioning properly, it became necessary to test the unit and provide documented evidence that it was working within specifications. BCIT's test results demonstrate that the flash unit was working well within specifications and was functioning properly. The results also indicate that the duration of flash output can be quenched to 1/70,000 second (see Photographic Setup #1) and that the duration of the flash set at manual mode is at least 1/3500 second (see Photographic Setup #2).
