Whenever the appearance of your pond water is not acceptable due either to cloudiness or unattractive colour, use Bio-Blue. The tint will also help filter out the sun's UV rays. Enzymes quickly break down suspended organic matter that can make water cloudy, and the biodegradeable dye tints the colour of the water for a dramatic appearance. It accomplishes two tasks with one application. Bio-Blue can be used to temporarily enhance the pond aesthetics since the biodegradeable dye will break down in 6-8 weeks. It can also be used regularily to maintain clarity and the desired level of colour.

Clarifies pond water. Microbe-Lift Flocculant Plus is a proprietary formulation (polymeric blend) used to coagulate suspended solids in the pond water. After use, particles in the water setttle to the bottom of the pond and/or filter out through the filter system.
Add one ounce per 150 gallons of cloudy pond water. Maintain aeration and filtration for maximum clarification. After the milky haze period, conditions should clear within 12 to 24 hours. Dosage may be repeated as necessary.

The peat helps to buffer the pH of the pond water. It also has enzymes and the added benefit of barley all in one product. Use this product anytime pond temperature is above 50º F (10º C). It can be used with Microbe-Lift PL to provide additional biological activity or alone where in one of the rare situations Microbe-Lift PL does not provide the desired effect. This product balances your pond's ecosystem by establishing all natural biological processes required to keep water clear, reduce or eliminate organic sludge buildup, and seed your filter with the added benefit of barley.
Dilute dosage in 1/2 gallon lukewarm water and stir until dissolved. Apply Maximum Clarity Plus directly over the surface area of the pond or spread around its perimeter. The bacteria in Maximum Clarity Plus are grown on a bran base which will cause the pond water to appear cloudy after each application. This will clear up within 24-48 hours.

If your pond contains fish and/or plants, do not dramatically lower your pH levels more than 0.5 pH units in a 24-hour period, as not to shock aquatic life and/or fish.

PL Gel is the first bacterial product that allows you to put the bacteria right where you want them and they stay there. Use this product whenever starting up your pond's filter system, after every filter pad cleaning, or with every change/addition of filter media. PL/Gel bacteria quickly attach to and populate any filter media including foam, strapping, floss, bio balls, ceramic media, etc. This will help to rapidly establish the necessary biological activity in your filter to stabilize your pond's environment quickly. It will also help restore this activity to your filter when you clean or change the media in your filter.
Innoculate PL/Gel directly to filter pad or media. The PL/Gel willl absorb into the pad/media by letting it set for 1-2 hours before inserting back into the filter or skimmer. After insertion, turn off recirculating pump for 1-2 hours, provided water can maintain adequate oxygenation without circulation for this amound of time. Repeat application of PL/Gel after each cleaning/replacement of filter pads/media when nitrate levels exceed 0.6 mg/L or as necessary to maintain optimum performance for your filter or skimmer.

Microbe-Lift Pond Phosphate Remover is a polymeric blend of outstanding qualities, including the ability to tie-up large quantities of phosphate without negatively influencing the pond water in any way. Phosphate - caused by the decomposition of organic substances, such as food surplusses, dead plant matter, and excretion - is only harmless in concentrations below 0.3 ppm in fresh water.
Test pond water for ppm of phosphate in your pond. Add one ounce of Pond Phosphate Remover near the circulating pump per 100 US gallons of pond water at 1.5 ppm of phosphate in the pond. Repeat dosage if the phosphate level remains high. In cases of highly elevated phosphate levels, several treatments may be required to eradicate the problem.

This product provides a blend of bacteria and enzymes developed to accelerate the breakdown of organic buildup in areas of the pond other than the pond botttom, e.g. waterfalls and streams. It also offers a different consortium in the rare instances when Microbe-Lift PL does not achieve the desired effect. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away Booster adjusts the micronutrients in the pond water resulting in conditions that are beneficial for water quality and clarity and helps to eliminate debris.
Dilute dosage in 1/2 gallon lukewarm water and stir until dissolved. Apply Sludge Away Booster directly over the surface area of the pond or spread around its perimeter. The pond water may become cloudy immediately after adding the liquid slurry. This is normal and should clear up within 24-48 hours.
