Firestorm 2009 - Volumes 1 & 2
Volume 1... This volume covers the "Jesusita Fire" in Santa Barbara, CA and the "Guiberson Fire" in Fillmore, CA. The Jesusita Fire exhibiting extreme
fire behavior driven by 70 mph Sundowner winds destroyed 160 structures and over 8000 acres. The air show provided fantastic close up action of tanker ops. The Guiberson Fire was the only notable
wind driven fire of the fall season destroying one structure and 17,000 acres providing good air show and hand crew action.

Volume 2... This volume covers the "La Brea Fire" in the Los Padres Nat. Forest and the "Sheep Fire" in San Bernardino County, CA. The La Brea Fire for video purposes was mostly
an air show. It burned 90,000 acres and provided excellent close action of P-3's, P-2's CAL FIRE S-2's and the Martin Mars. The Sheep Fire in Lone Pine Cyn. exhibited extreme fire behavior destroying
three structures and 8000 acres while threatening the town of Wrightwood. Ground, air, and dozer ops are featured along with accompanying radio traffic.

Station Fire - August 2009
The Station Fire which started in the Angeles National Forest on August 26th, 2009 during triple digit temperatures and single digit
humidities grew to be the largest wildland fire in Los Angeles County history and the tenth largest in the state of California. The arson caused fire claimed
the lives of two firefighters, destroyed 89 residences, 22 commercial buildings, and 94 outbuildings. The fuel and terrain driven fire exhibited very extreme
fire behavior leading to the destruction of 160,577 acres, or over 250 square miles.

This video features the first wind driven fires of the 2008 fall season in Southern California. Two of these fires occur on the same day and
in close proximity to one another. Driven by Santa Ana winds through drought conditioned fuels, these fires spread across 19,627 acres damaging or destroying 141 structures
including 75 residences. Air operations (fixed wing and rotor wing) are featured at all three fires including ops at the fill sites.
