Beginning: Welcome
We will begin the course with a welcome post on the discussion forum at the office at Tapped In. You'll find the post from the moderator there. Please add your own and let us know a little about yourself, what led you to this course, and perhaps give us a sense of where you live and the view from your livingroom window.
Module One: Duality and Human Experience
In the first module we examine the question 'Where does our experience of duality come from?' and how the answers to this question influence the dance of Self and Other, of us and them. We also explore aspects of both science and religion which promote and affirm the experience of duality.
Module Two: Duality Ingrained: Life in the Family
It is suggested that most of us are awakened to the experience of duality within the family. We come into the world knowing only oneness with the world. That knowledge, that assumption of oneness is shattered as we become awake to the passage of time, to memory, to the reality that life is about separation. By the time most of us are 7 or 8 months old, we are already well on the way to accepting as fact that we and the world are separate. The only question left to be decided was exactly what that separation looked like, what elements in that construction would be unique to us as individuals and what elements we would hold in common with those around us.
Module Three: Self-Defining Moments: Finding Points of Division
Introduction of the word 'confleating' to describe our experience of duality as a construct of many conflicting, competing truths. In this module, we are going to look at some confleating truths which have helped shape the nature of your particular perception of duality.
Conclusion:: The Division is Endless
In the concluding webinar, we summarize the course and the learning for each student. We also examine the concluding steps and introduce concepts that are covered in the next course 'Eternal Stories - Life in Dualism.'
