How You Can Help

bullet

Help spread the word about the Broad Coalition's new voter strategies. Write to your local newspaper, call-in to radio talk shows, talk to your friends and co-workers ...

bullet

Volunteer to help in our campaign to elect progressives to the Legislature and to thereby protect "the Commons" for all British Columbians.

bullet

Learn about and support the Referendum for Electorial Reform (BC-STV). Talk to everyone you know to promote this one-time opportunity to improve the way we elect our government. With an STV voting system in place no longer will governments be able to wield power wildly beyond their true public support. We will have Proportional Representation with MLAs from each party (or independents) in proportion the amount of votes each receives. No more will the Broad Coalition have to promote "strategic voting" to ensure progressive values are present in our elected government. All votes will count!

bullet

Ask NDP and Green candidates and their campaigners to focus on positive, progressive solutions rather than criticizing each other.

bullet

Write a letter (Word 20kb) to Carole James and Adriane Carr asking them to focus their criticism on the Liberals and focus on positive progressive solutions.

bullet

Send us your ideas or just encouragement (thanks) broadcoalition@telus.net

bullet

Write to your local newspaper and say that you want Greens and NDP to cooperate in the next election.

bullet

Talk to your coworkers, friends and relatives. Talk. Talk. Talk.
