Protecting British Columbia...
With Your Help
We're In Election Time - We Need Your Support
The Broad Coalition has many volunteers who are working very hard in this crucial election. We are getting the word out about STV, strategic voting and offering vote pairing through this web site. Your contribution will give voters the opportunity to vote their conscience AND defeat the Liberals - without splitting the progressive vote! Your support will take our campaign to the ridings where the Broad Coalition can make a difference!
Your Donation Allows us to Reach More Voters
The Broad Coalition's campaign relies on grassroot involvement and support. We really need financial help! Please make a contribution to the Broad Coalition today so we can work to protect the B.C. you cherish.
Your donation will enable us to:
 |
Print pamphlets and other handouts |
 |
Publish advertisements in key constituencies |
 |
Reach Green and NDP supporters in ridings where a combined progressive vote will defeat the Liberal candidate |
 |
Raise awareness of the STV referendum |
Every voter we reach is hope for British Columbia's future. Every dollar counts.

The Broad Coalition is a small not for profit grassroots movement. We work tirelessly to find ways for NDP and Green Party supporters to cooperate to elect progressive candidates. As progressives we value our commons; we must stop the Liberals from selling, privatizing or destroying the resources and services of BC - from ferries to forests, from day-care to health-care. We advocate a YES vote on the STV referendum. Proportional representation will elect more progressives and ensure that no future government will have more power than the voters give them.
The Coalition has been meeting every two weeks for over three years. In this time we have lobbied the Green Party and the NDP, consulted widely with British Columbians, conducted surveys and held public meetings. The Broad Coalition receives no government or corporate funding. We rely on generous individuals like you to run our vital, one-time, campaign.
We are a registered sponsor under the BC elections act. We will be submitting our budget after the election for the public record. We are required to disclose the identity of any individual who donates over $250.00.
