CONDUIT, in conjunction with other groups, has:
- Successfully
Petitioned the City of Victoria to waive Building Permit fees
for Leaky Condo repairs
- Petitioned
the Capital Regional District (CRD) to waive Dumping fees at Hartland
Road Dump
- Met
with various levels of Government to raise the focus of the plight
of Leaky Condo Owners
- Facilitated
meetings with the Home Owner's Protection office and Condominium
Home Owners Association of BC for Vancouver Island Residents
- Started
to collect information and organize Leaky Condo Owners into an
effective lobby group
- Held
Town Hall meetings to bring Leaky Condo owners together to discuss
issues Arrange for Condo's starting the process to be mentored
by people who have been through the process
- Effectively
organizing Community "Walkabouts" to focus public attention on
Politicians that so far have sidestepped the issue
