THE PHRENIC NERVE The Phrenic nerve carries to the diaphragm the stimuli which make it work. The nerve extends from the neck through the chest down to the diaphragm. The diaphragm is the chief muscle used in breathing. When taking a breath the diaphragm moves downward. While the ribs are moving outwards, the subsequent expansion makes room for more air to come into the lungs. This action is called inspiration. Breathing out is called expiration. The phrenic nerve is a part of of the pituitary gland, situated at the base of the brain ,behind the nose, but above the ears. The Greek (phren) means; diaphragm, mind, spirit. The brain hopefully can supervise the necessary activities needed forbeing grounded in rest as well as vital in activity. The delusion possible is in thinking one is getting oxygen when actually one is in a state of chloralism; maintained to any extent by unbelief, ignorance, or false confidense would be mentally unhealthy, and unless fixed ,the basic level of chloria would lead to chloriaphrenia. While it is beyond the level of the Clinic to treatschizophrenia(or condition occuring between puberty and age 25,known as "Hebephrenia"), it serves one well to know the introspective definition of the term is molded of a prefix "schiz" meaning split,or hebe meaning "youthful" in the specific(phenic) nerve. With schizophrenia research producing as many treatments as the infinitival of nothing has i's; try ten(10)consecutive breaths away the one i of Tension occuring from transfused post-accident engrams on the Back and from stress that has travelled up to schiz the nerve and cause anxiety or agitation. Gestalt therapy used by some in the treatment, follows the basic premise that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. The emotional reality of those visiting the Clinic paramountly important. Endochlorology is yet another path to achieve that!!! and that!!! we hope your mind can find rest in. HOME
