- Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation The PEIMHF was set up in 1970 to preserve and protect Prince Edward Island's History and Heritage. It is part of the P.E.I. museum system, and is housed in the historic "Beaconsfield".
- Sir Andrew Macphail Foundation The Macphail Homestead was the home of one of PEI's most famous writers, physicians, and scholars, Sir Andrew Macphail. In 1844, his parents came to PEI, then bought the 100 acre Fletcher farm in Orwell, and moved in on May 24th, 1864.
