The Drysdale connection, according to James Drysdale Carfrae (email from him to Neil Carfra, Nov. 12, 2003):
My Grandmother Carfrae (maiden name Nancy Hutchison) had a sister named Annie who married John Drysdale. My Father was named after them and in turn I received the Drysdale. I know nothing else about "Drysdale" and any connection to Carfrae is accidental.
