The 15' BOB'S SPECIAL was a very popular design of the Chestnut Canoe Company.  Favored by the outdoorsman, fisherman, and the recreational canoeists, designed as a light weight model having a flat and wide beam.  This makes it very steady and able to have excellent carrying capacity.  Having moderate rocker and soft bilges also make this a great canoe for traditional style solo paddling.
