Calendar of Events - 2006 Volunteer work parties will be held in the park. Meet at the entrance off Thomson Place. Please bring your own tools. The first priority is to clear the park of invasive species, mainly daphne and ivy. The detailed activities will depend on the weather and previous progress. Training will be provided. We have completed a first clearing of the large area bounded by the circular drive of dreadful daphne and indomitable ivy. This project will be making every effort to be ecologically responsible by not using any herbicides, pesticides or other harmful chemicals. To learn more, telephone:544-1276 or email:ablecompany@shaw.ca
