"Our cancellation policy is very strict. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance if you anticipate that you might need to cancel your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports."
Because we are dedicated to running small numbers of people, we cannot afford to have seats tied up by frivolous bookings. If we do not receive your deposit by the date it is due, we will immediately cancel your seat and open it up to another person.
Special note on charter *all* flight changes:
Last minute changes to regular and charter flights will incur, respectively, an extra $100 and $250 administration fees.
If we do not receive the balance of the tour price by the date it is due, we will consider that you have cancelled your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports. We will open up your space to another person and will not refund your deposit.
If you cancel your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports after you have paid the deposit, we will open up your space to another person and will not refund the deposit.
If you cancel your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports after you have paid the balance of the tour, we will open up your space to another person and will not refund the deposit or any other payments made on the tour price.
If you cancel your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports we will immediately attempt to refill your space. For as long as your seat remains unfilled we will permit you to put another person forward to take your place as your substitute. If your substitute takes up your seat with Bella Coola Heli Sports, we will credit any money that you have paid to us toward the balance owing on your substitute's seat. We will leave it to you and your substitute to determine how you recoup the payments credited to the substitute's benefit. While we cannot revise our cancellation policy, we hope that our acceptance of your substitute will offset the effects of our policy.
**Important note: BCHS reserves the right to cancel your reservation. However; if BCHS does cancel your reservation you will be refunded in full.
Big Mountain Heliskiing Refund Policy
There is no refund for down days. However, if bad weather or mechanical breakdown prevents us from flying and therefore attaining a minimum threshold the following refunds are applied.
3-Day Refund Policy: If you do not attain a minimum threshold of 34,000 vertical feet (10,400 vertical metres) skied over the course of tour; we will refund all un-skied vertical below this 34,000 vertical foot threshold at a rate of $42 per 1,000 feet.
4-Day Refund Policy: If you do not attain a minimum threshold of 45,600 vertical feet (13,920 vertical metres) skied over the course of the tour; we will refund all un-skied vertical below this 45,600 vertical foot threshold at a rate of $42 per 1,000 feet.
5-Day Refund Policy: If you do not attain a minimum threshold of 56,400 vertical feet (17,200 vertical metres) skied over the course of the tour; we will refund all un-skied vertical below this 56,400 vertical foot threshold at a rate of $42 per 1,000 feet.
7-Day Refund Policy: If you do not attain a minimum threshold of 80,000 vertical feet (24,400 vertical metres) skied over the course of the tour; we will refund all un-skied vertical below this 80,000 vertical foot threshold at a rate of $42 per 1,000 feet.
