Saturday, February 16, 2008, 1-4pm - Cultural & Heritage Day - Garry Oaks Room - 1335 Thurlow Street, located behind the Sir James Douglas Elementary School, near the corner of Fairfield & Moss Streets.

Sunday, February 24, 2008, 2pm - Ross Bay Cemetery: Black History Tour - in the 1850s and 1860s Victoria was a haven for blacks escaping racism in California. Interesting new stories identify many of those buried at Ross Bay Cemetery. Meet at the Starbucks at Fairfield Plaza, 1516 Fairfield Rd.

Saturday, March 29, 2008 - Event - "Africa Celebrates" - African Heritage Association of Vancouver Island (AHAVI) at Commonwealth Place, 4636 Elk Lake Drive.
