View of the main aisle looking toward the altar. The intricately  carved rood screen  is almost unique in Cornwall, and may have been buried to preserve it from destruction by Cromwell's soldiers.   Details of the carved figures are on --interior page 2. 

 
 
The South Aisle was added to the church between 1390 and 1400. The original wagon roof shows in the picture below. The Norman font is in the foreground.

Norman font dating from mid-12th century. When repaired in Victorian times, the shafts were wrongly reset.
